I come from a very long and extensive background in music and live sound production. A graduate from MIT School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Audio/Sound Reinforcement for Live Production, and a degree in Audio & Sound Engineering from San Antonio Sound & Light. As a musician, I began my passion for music as early as 8 years of age when I found my passion for drums and percussion in grade school then Jr. High and through High School on the drum line. Most of my training and skills came from deeply studying well-known professionals such as Buddy Rich and Ginger Baker.

In the early years, I took a 12 year time-out to take care of my marriage and raising two young boys. My heart for music never became a lost influence during those years. Music was my passion; it was his lifestyle and hobby. My early musical influences were The Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd CCR and various groups of the 60’s.

In 1991, My wife and myself became Christians and started serving the Lord through our church doing sound and then moving on to several Christian artist in the local San Antonio area. I felt the call to learn the Bass guitar in !995.  I actively pursued honing in on his skills to be a solid bassist. I began my career at my local church then onto several churches around south Texas. Then with my first Christian band, “Burning Faith” began as a calling from God to share the Gospel through music outside of the walls of church. This venture lasted 12 years before becoming the Bassist for The MicheleHerren Band/The Lions Roar Rev 5.5. Some of the ministries I’ve had the opportunity to be part of as a Sound Tech and bassist include: The Texas State Prison Ministries, Promise Keepers, Homeless shelters, and many church functions and revivals over my 40 plus years. I am spirit driven, love music and ministering to God’s people.
